Lisa and Decon Davies
I honestly am lost for words and that doesn’t happen often! You made the whole room laugh & cry. You’ve really touched me and Decon with your kindness and care. You made our night. I don’t know what to say. But I really hope to work with you in future. And I honestly wish you the best life possible.

I have known Liz for a long time as a friend of the family, so when my husband and I decided to renew our wedding vows, we immediately knew who we would like to perform our ceremony. My husband and I originally got married in January 2014 in Kansas, USA. Unfortunately, none of my family were able to attend so we decided to have a vow renewal ceremony back in the UK at Christmas. I had no idea what to expect from such a ceremony, and no idea where to start – especially as we were planning this from the USA! But Liz immediately put us at ease, getting right to work offering us ideas and support from the very beginning. She took away all the stress that I imagined would surround planning the ceremony and made me feel relaxed about the whole thing.
I fortunately got the chance to meet up with Liz while I visited home during the summer. The ideas she presented were so meaningful and touching, and she suggested things I’d never even thought of, such as a remembrance candle for all the family members that sadly were no longer with us. My husband and I are not one for public speaking, so Liz reassured us that she would be more than happy to do the majority of the speaking. She showed genuine interest in getting to know us and our relationship, and the meeting was lovely and informal – but professional, of course. She helped us assign roles for all my family members to ensure that everyone was a significant part of the special day, and this meant the most to me. I returned to the USA a lot more relaxed, and extremely excited for our ceremony.
Liz was there to reassure me in the time leading up to the ceremony, and promptly answered all the questions I had for her, offering advice and expertise when I felt that vow-
writing was a little daunting. The help she offered was personalised, which is part of the reason she stands apart from the rest. The ceremony itself was everything we could have hoped for, and so much more. It went as smoothly as it possibly could have, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day. The service itself was a light-hearted, happy occasion, with the odd joke thrown in. Liz presented the service so professionally, but it never lost the relatable and personal feel that we had so desired.
Liz, I would like to sincerely thank you for making our ceremony one that we will never forget. I want to thank you for the wonderful person that you are, and the care that you took in getting to know us, and plan us a ceremony that suited us so well. Thank you for being such a genuine, lovely person and for making sure that everything went to smoothly. All of our friends and family commented on what a wonderful service you provided, and I couldn’t agree more. Thank you for everything.
