Working with you to bring a fresh approach to making your ceremony personal and fun is what I do best. Creating something uplifting and memorable can only be done by spending time with you and getting to know you. I think the thing to remember is that choosing to work with a Celebrant opens up so many opportunities for you to have exactly what you want. So if you’re not the type of person who is happy with something written for the masses then a Celebrant is for you. After all it’s your life and your service or ceremony, and as such your input is vital to making it really meaningful and personal.
Absolutely amazing service held by Liz today. She got to the heart of my mum’s life, history and family and gave us a walk through that was warm, witty, charming, touching and funny. It was as if she’d known my mum. I can’t thank you enough,
Joanna Wroe xx
I am based in Manchester UK and well placed to travel across the North West. However, I have arranged many a funeral service or ceremony over Skype and email with people who live overseas and are arranging and travelling back to the UK to attend their loved one’s funeral service or want to hold their wedding or naming ceremony etc surrounded by their family and friends.
A Bit of Background
Before becoming an independent Celebrant I worked in social care and social inclusion for many years. My main speciality is person centred practice and my aim is to work with you to ensure that you have full choice and control and that your service or ceremony is the right one for you or your loved one.
I value working with all kinds of people, whatever your background or lifestyle choices, believing that difference enriches and brings value to our lives. Building relationships and compatibility are important to creating the perfect service or ceremony and I offer as standard a first no obligation meeting, in person, on the phone or by Skype which gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and for you to decide whether you would like to work with me.
I am professionally trained by the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants who is the longest running and best respected independent Celebrancy Company in the UK. I have trained in Bereavement Counselling though I am not a practicing counselor. I am an experienced public speaker, arranging and managing many large events and offer training and consultancy in many topics. I have trained in the fundamentals of Psychosynthesis with the London Institute of Psychosynthesis and have integrated the models into my approach which helps us to work together to create something beautiful.
If you want a ceremony that is a bit different from standard, need information on aspects of your Celebration or the Funeral service then feel free to contact me for a friendly chat.
